Cousins!!

We had a fun cousin- filled summer!  I was going through photos and was amazed at how much stuff we did.  It was great.

Wow!  Lots o cousins!!  We had tons of fun.
I was just remembering the last time we were in Mesa staying with the AZ cousins and Bekki was combing Maura's hair in the morning.  Maura was obviously excited that we were there because Bekki was saying "Wow!  Your hair is snarly.  What slept in your hair last night?  A rat?  A squirrel?"  And Maura replied, "Nope - cousins!"  :  )

Jackson Lake

We had a couple of fun trips to see Grandpa Jonesy in Jackson this summer and had fun going on the boat in Jackson Lake. That place is awesome!!

Guns and Dirtbikes

Remember that Kelly and I have a redneck baby? We really think he was switched at the hospital or something. Wait - I think he was the only baby born that week at our hospital. So that's probably not the case. He just hangs around Uncle Trenty too much! Oh yea I already told ya that (see lawn mower post).

Anyway, anyone who is around this house very much knows what is important. Guns. Dirtbikes. We can't even call them motorbikes or motorcycles without the redneck baby insisting that it is a dirtbike. It must just sound much more manly and rednecky to his little ears.

Happy Birthday Brady!

Yes - his birthday was on June 14th! And yes - I am very VERY slow at blogging this summer! But I shall catch up! Wait and see ----
The boy turned 14 - and is so darn awesome. I love that Brady kid.

Of course he had a GOLF cake.  It was pretty sweet.  Now Bran is convinced he wants one too.  He hasn't really figured out how far away February is.

Many exciting presents were opened - including a ---wait for it----PHONE!  And no.  He never calls anyone.  Well, sometimes me - sometimes Kelly.  Never fear - you know what would freeze entirely over before this kid texted a female!  But we do have a way to find him on the golf course now.  : ) 

So happy birthday Brady! We had a good one - and you are a good one!

Drivin the Mower

One of Brannen's hero's is Uncle Trenty.  He often tells me many stories of things that he and Uncle Trenty have done (few of which are actually true, but hey, they are entertaining!! They usually involve very big guns and even bigger and meaner monsters).  However, we did stuble upon Uncle Trenty using Grandpa Jonesy's new mower one day and oh the fun that did ensue!
This is a TRUE story . . . .

And a fun story it was!  I heard about it for weeks later!

Catching up . . . . .

Well -- there has been so much going on this summer - I feel bad for not keeping up on this blog!  It may take me the rest of the summer to catch up!!

We began this fun summer break with a great trip to St. George with my family.  It was grand!!  So much fun!  We rented a house (with a pool - yipeeeee!) and just played and played.  Kid heaven.

 This awesome house even had a putting green in the backyard!  Score!  Too bad Kelly couldn't come - but the boys enjoyed it so much.  Thanks Katie and Kevin for finding us some clubs!!!

The swimming fun!!  Oh man!!

 My kids loved playing with Adell - Katie and Kevan's cutie girlie.  They had never even met her!  She is such a doll.  So good and so beautiful.  We love her!

 Grandpa Jonesy took us hiking in Snow canyon.  It was so great!  The perfect place to explore and have some hiking fun.

 Here we are - all six of us in one spot!  It was so fun to be together!

JENN-I-FER!!!  OH THAT GIRL!!  He he he he!!!  Went to snap the picture, and I guess she thought I needed some more support!  Well I do!  I need all the support I can get!

We all had so much fun this week!  

 And I celebrated turning 38 with a jump in the pool!  he he he  Happy Birthday to me!
