Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Rae has had the BEST time performing with the cast of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at SVHS this past weekend.  I think it has been one of her favorite high school experiences.  And it was so very good!  We loved it!

Happy Birthday Reese!

She turned 12!  Can you believe it?  I surely can't.  She seemed to have had a great birthday --

 And ate double her weight in waffles over the course of the week!  Pretty great birthday - if you're Reese!

 Handsome boy!  He's all slicked up and ready for school!  He decided to be a soldier for his pre-school party.  He is wearing the little uniform that belonged to Barry's older brother Allen who died when he was five.  Super cute and super special!

My punks are growing up!  I can't believe how fast the time is going!  I love looking at this picture.  It makes me happy.  Being a parent is something that can't be described - I think you have to experience it to really understand all that it is.  It is crazy how much I can love these four creatures.  And crazy how mad I get at them, and crazy how much they make me laugh, and crazy that I like being with them so darn much!

Brady's New Look

 Yes - this is how Brady has now decided to dress himself for school - we've tried to stop him.  He is just intent on being one of the cool kids . . . .   (Actually NERD day for Red Ribbon week - he did a good job - didn't he??  Maybe a bit too good?!? ; )   )
