He's FOUR - It's Official!!

We had a fun party with Brannen yesterday on his birthday!  Yep the little turkey is FOUR!!  Be prepared for many many a picture!!
 Oh the excitement!!
His very cool How to Train Your Dragon cake - that I did not make.  : (  I'm getting old and lazy!  But it was awesome and what he wanted.

 Presents!!
Waiting for grandparents to get here - kids are busy with a fun new game on the ipad, but all the little man can think about are those PRESENTS!!

Very excited to get "real money" from grandpa Jonesy.  He was thrilled - and has been carrying it around a lot.  I don't think he will be able to spend it!

 Finally ---present time!!
Rae and Brady got a little silly - and stalker like!  They were having fun.  Poor Grandmas!  Hope they survive the attack!!

Bran is a careful present opener.  He stops and throws away each piece of paper as he rips it off.  Drives Kelly crazy - but I'm glad he's clean!  Clean and cute!
Best present of the day - for sure - thank you Grandma Chris!!  Shooting bottles off a log!  Too much fun!  The other kids - and Kelly - are always stealing his gun to take a shot.  Fun stuff!!

 OH MAN!!
The main gift that we got him - that didn't turn out as great as we thought.  It is a gun game to play with the kinect.  Shooting animals!  Fun for Bran right?  It is just a little tricky.  For Brady and Kelly even - so don't know if it will work out.  Oh well - we tried - and he's pretty happy watching them try to play.
Pin the tail on the donkey!!  He really wanted to play - so the kids were good sports!

What is it with this kid and using guns to blow out candles?!?  He he he!  He is so funny!

He also loves trick candles!  He laughs so so hard - it is funny!  He even lost the gun to try and blow them out.
He finally said - "Everyone is going to have to help me!!"  It was super cute!
Time to eat that cake!  Not to mention play with the dragon on the cake!

And last but not least (I know, I know lots of pictures!  I'm kinda nutty about this boy) is the "hatch a bird egg" phone call from Grandpa Jonesy.  A tradition!  A very very fruity tradition - but hey you can always count on it!  Wouldn't even know it was your birthday without it!!  Bran was amused and a little confused . . . . .   :  )
So there ya have it.  He is four now.  Can't believe it.  I sure do love this Guy.  He makes my life fun everyday and I love being his mom.  It is a huge blessing to me that I get to spend everyday with him.  I am grateful for the chance every single day!!

Brannen's Birthday Part 1

Oh man!  He's gonna be four on Monday!  CRAZY!  Time flies . . . . . .
We began his birthday celebration with a trip to Jackson to swim at the rec. center.  (Actually, it was a Grover ward Beehives trip - we decided to go for an activity - but Bran assumed it was for his birthday - so of course I went with that!)

He had a great time - and so did I.  It was so fun to play with my little man.  He was super funny and cute.

I don't think it is possible for him to get much more loveable.  He is the king of hugs --- and kisses for that matter.  We were at a basketball game the other day when my friend Kenna's returned missionary son Tyler was getting ready to leave.  He said - by Brannen!  And Bran said - wait --- hugs!  So Tyler gave him a big hug, and then Brannen went in for the kisses ; ).  Ty wasn't really prepared and kinda laughed and dodged him - and Bran seriously chased him.  It was funny!
Brannen is also getting more and more imaginative - if you can believe it.  It really is getting hard to tell if it really happened - or just a story.  He told me a whopper the other day about a field trip to the Post Office where he saw a Saber-Toothed Tiger with big big teeth and green blood dripping.  He said it was for real --- but I'm kinda not buying that one ; ).
I need to remember to post more funnies about him when they happen because I always forget and there are some doosies!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAN!

My Valentines

Happy happy love day!  Oh how I love my peeps!

Well . . . . . not too sure about the crazy lookin' fellow in that last picture.  He looks a little suspect. ;  )

Baking

I've been baking a lot lately - must be winter around here.   I have had a lot of help at it.
